I directed this short 15-minute documentary about how the misuse of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) has led to California’s current housing crisis.  The film was produced by The Two Hundred, an organization that advocates for affordable housing and home ownership for low-to-middle-income people of color.  The Director of Photography, Angel Cardenas, did a fantastic job of shooting in six different California cities.  Hope you enjoy, or, at least, become a little outraged.
